St. Helena is literally surrounded by world-class wineries. The region produces great cabernet sauvignons, sauvignon blancs, chardonnays, pinot noirs, merlots or zinfandels.

Robert L. Holder

Bob is a native of Missouri and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 1967 and received a Master's in 1969. After graduation, Bob and his wife, Donna, relocated to San Francisco where Bob worked for Haskins & Sells CPA's (now Deloitte and Touche) for a year, before entering the US Army. After two years, Bob left the service as a First Lieutenant and rejoined Haskins & Sells. In 1978, Bob, Donna and their two sons, Chris and Greg, moved to Napa where Bob joined the firm, working in the Napa office. The following year, Bob moved to the St. Helena office and became a partner in 1980, concentrating in wine industry accounting and taxation. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Bob was involved with the Napa Valley Wine Auction for many years, having served on the Steering Committee and Task Forces I and II. He is the past treasurer of the St. Helena Public School Foundation and currently serves as Treasurer of the Napa County Land Trust.

Bob is also a member of the wine industry, producing wines under his own label.

Leonard L. LaBranche, Jr.

Leonard graduated in 1980 from California State University, Chico, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. Leonard worked with Davis Hammond & Co, Certified Public Accountants, in Oroville, California, after graduating.

Leonard joined the firm in 1984, working in the St. Helena office and specializes in winery and vineyard accounting and taxation. He is responsible for accounting and financial reporting standards for the firm and takes great pride in the high marks the firm receives as a result of the State's peer review program. Leonard became partner on June 1, 1999. He, his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Jeremy and Sarah, reside in Calistoga.

Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Leonard is a past president of the Calistoga Rotary Club and the treasurer of the Calistoga Sharpsteen Museum Foundation.

Kevin S. Alfaro

Kevin grew up in Davis, California, where he became a nationally recognized tennis player. In 1984, he was recruited to play for Sonoma State University. During his tenure at SSU, Kevin interned for the firm's Napa office. In 1988, after completing his undergraduate degree in accounting/business management and marrying his wife, Sallie, Kevin continued to compete and teach tennis in Sonoma County. After finishing his tennis career and a brief stint working in a large private company, Kevin joined the firm's Napa office. In 1992, Kevin transferred to the firm's St. Helena office to work in the wine industry. Kevin left the firm for three and a half years to work for Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he was a tax manager in the Sacramento and San Francisco real estate and wine tax practices. In 1996, Kevin completed his Master's Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University and in 1998 rejoined the firm's St. Helena office. Professional memberships include the American and California I?stitutes of CPAs.

Kevin and Sallie have three children: Zac, Zoe, and Gus. Kevin is currently a board member at the Napa Community Bank, Napa Wine Library and the St. Helena Boy's and Girl's Club. He is a past board member of the St. Helena Nursery Cooperative and Pueblo Vista Alternative PTA boards.

Breton A. Blyth

Bret was born in Seaside, California and as a young child relocated with his family to rural Ohio into a farming community. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served four years. After spending a couple of years in Dallas, he returned to California and began the arduous task of working full time and taking evening courses at the Santa Rosa Junior College where he met his wife Julie. He later transferred to Sonoma State University where he completed his undergraduate degree in 1995. He began working with the firm's St. Helena office full time in 1996 and has primarily focused on the wine and manufacturing industries with a focus on taxation. He recently graduated from Golden Gate University with a Master's of Science in Taxation. He joined the firm as a partner in June of 2006.

Bret is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a board member and treasurer of Legal Aid of Napa Valley.

Warren W. Warner, Jr.

Warren, born and raised in the Napa Valley, is a Justin-Siena High School alum and currently resides in Napa with his wife Nicole and their three children. He attended San Diego State University and Napa Valley College, where he played on the collegiate baseball team. After graduating from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy, Warren joined the firm's Napa office.

In 1997, Warren earned his Master of Science degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. In 1998, he became a partner in the accounting firm of Scott and Warner in St. Helena. In October 2005, Warren rejoined the firm in the St. Helena office. He was admitted to the partnership in June 2006. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Warren is currently a board member of Napa Valley Heritage Fund and a past St. Helena Chamber of Commerce Ambassador.

Dale M. Brown (Retired)

Dale is a fourth generation Californian and grew up in the farming communities of the San Joaquin Valley. After three years in the US Army, he married and then graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1970, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Dale and his wife, Cynthia, then relocated to San Francisco where he was employed by Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co CPA's (now KPMG), and Hood & Strong, CPA's. Their son, Thomas, was born in 1974 and the family moved to St. Helena to live in a rural environment. Dale joined G & J Seiberlich & Co LLP in July of 1974 and became partner in 1975. A daughter, Alexis, was born in 1976. The family lives on their Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard in St. Helena.

While at Fresno State, Dale became a founding member of the honorary accounting fraternity Beta Alpha Psi, Gamma Omnicron chapter, as well as a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a professional marketing fraternity. Professional memberships include The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently President of the Napa Valley Grape Growers, a director for the Napa Valley Wine Library, and the director of the Napa Valley College Foundation. He is a past president of the St. Helena Little League and St. Helena Rotary Club.

Dale's professional emphasis is in wine and viticulture accounting, taxation, and estate and business succession planning.
